Went to the dog park for 2 hours. First hour and bit was him playing with other dogs (Beaut of a pitbull puppy). Then most left and Ozzie showed up so we played some ball. Ozzie doesn't like to drop it so i was working on that. TREATS convince all dogs to let go of the ball. Anyways jacey got soo into it i guess he got really warm and then this happened. It was priceless. Me and Ozzies owner and a laugh. Ozzie leaves and then shows up the high school guidance Councillor. Not someone i really wanted to see. Spent too much time with her in my last high year of high school. So he does it again and you can't help but laugh at him.

Anyways, Doesn't he just look soo happy!

Honestly, I think all my work has paid off. I do find he responds a lot better to me but he still is a puppy so i guess its okay if he still gets really excited at times and doesn't respond as well as i like i just have to keep it up.

All i really need to work on is his barking when people come. Which i've received some great advice and will see how it goes a few weeks from now. And to get him kennel trained. I left him home for a hour and due to separation problems i kenneled him and boy oh boy, The amount of drool when i got home.. Bit worried for when i start work and hes in there longer then a hour. Think a dog can get dehydrated from drooling too much?

Anyways! Another cute picture! Allison and Jacey

Yes he is wearing a Head Halt. Why? We were on a dog walk with a Bunch of other dogs and not all of them were okay with other dogs. Personally i do think they are a waste, but i wanted to make sure j was safe. Honestly not sure i will ever go on one of those walks again with this group. Mainly because EVERYONE had a prong collar. Felt a bit like the odd one out. I think the only other dog not using a prong collar was a small little chihuahua. Sure you want control of your dog during these walks but really, a prong collar.. Maybe im just very opinionated but i don't think having little spikes digging into your neck because you move ahead to much is very effected. Sure it might stop the dog from pulling, but it doesn't help gain respect from you dog.

Sorry this is long but lack of computer access. Just want to celebrate a bit of a victory with jacey too. Today i was walking home. We were about 2 mins away and jacey was walking nice next to me so i just slow dropped the leash and we continued home like this. His leash dragging and him walking along side me. I did stop a few times to see if he was actually paying attention and sure enough he was. He knows when i stop during a walk he is ment to sit and he did. So proud of my boy today.

Deff Love my boy. May have found a solution other then kenneling him too! Me and jacey have slept in allisons room (She sleeps with mom and me in hers which is a long story as to why) Since i got him pretty much. Today he was a bit on the dense side and kept going in allisons room and the door would shut behind him. He couldn't see me or get out and he wasn't full out freaking. He whined a little bit but i guess that was expected. Will test this out a bit just to be sure its a set in stone thing and he wont destroy the door or anything

Guess what!! Finally after 2 months i have my computer back. They replaced the hard drive along with the motherboard. But the funny thing is, They gave me my old hard drive "Incase i wanted to get anything off it" Which in other words, its working. So why they replaced it. i have no idea. But the bad news is, Tried to hook it up and found out my screen has kicked the bucket. It was about 10 years old so i suppose it was time. So im still computerless and unable to have much access to a computer.

Hope it works out in the room. That sure sounds like a good solution instead of the kennel.

I had a computer issue as well a while ago. I had to replace my hard drive though I got the old one back as well for the same reason. I can take it in to a computer place and they can extract what I want off of it and put it on a CD for me to load on my computer. Some hard drives will still work somewhat though it could be really slow and somewhat corrupted so you would still need a new one but you would be able to get the stuff off the old one if you needed to.
