Boy, can I see major differences in their personality. Not all pigs are alike. They may have the same basic personality traits such as their never ending quest in search of food but I can now attest to the fact that they are different in many ways.

Tulip was such a laid back little pig even when she was a youngster. She never woke me up to feed her, she waited on me to get to her. Not Kosha. Starting at 7:00 a.m., she starts squealing for food. If I ignore her, she'll go back to bed only to get up in a bit and start her rucus over again.

Today, I went to her area at about 8:00 a.m. As soon as I removed the baby gate, she started practically jumping around. Before I even had a chance to prepare her food, she ran down the stairs at top speed (I'm surprised she didn't fall down) and started oinking loudly to be fed.

When I made it down the stairs, she ran to the back door to be let out to eat. I only feed her outside as that is where I want her to eat especially when she gets older and more messy in her eating habits.

During the day, Tulip was quiet and more cuddly with me even when she was young like Kosha. Not Kosha. Kosha is one hyper piggy. Kosha will sit with me for a few minutes and then she has to start moving around to find something to do.

Hopefully as she grows up a bit, she'll calm down and not be so hyper. It's like I have a very hyper 2 year old child, LOL.

I hope she calms down a little for ur sake. :)

I wonder if you can just ignore her (I can only imagine how horrible that would be :'( )

but to show her she's not the boss but has to learn patience. I have no idea but just

wondering. :ermm:

Vi,

You're correct and that's what I do. Guess what she did this morning EARLY???? Okay, I'm asleep and she wanted to go out and eat. She started up her squealing, etc. I ignored her. Finally I heard a crash so I jumped out of bed and ran to her area. She had knocked down the baby gate. Tonight I have to figure out a more secure way to keep her in her area. Anyway, she knocked down the baby gate and when she saw me, she took off downstairs and went to the back door to be let out. She wanted to eat.

Last night I noticed she was not in her bed. I had not yet put up the baby gate. I called out to her. She was downstairs and found Davy's food. She ate what was in his dish. She was very pleased with herself.

Now, with Tulip if she could find food and take it, she would -- just like Kosha. Shoot, Tulip would steal food and hide it under my bed to eat when I was not around (at least until I found out about it).

So Kosha, while I love her, needs some work and discipline. I pretty much got the car stuff under control. I was a bit harsh with her but she had to learn. I used her own piggy language to teach her. When she tried to climb on my lap, I shoved her back to her seat forcefully that it almost knocked her off of her feet. That went on for a few days and now she gets the message. She also quit that crazy squealing at the top of her lungs in the car. She now whines when she doesn't want to leave (I can live with that).

I just hope that Ducky doesn't start screaming at the same time Kosha is squealing. If they do it at the same time, I'm moving out and giving them the house, LOL.
