Ducky and Davey. ^o)

Prob. going to take a little time for Ducky since he's not used to those fast doggie moves. Not to mention

Davey bustin' in on "Ducky" private time. :ermm: I'm sure thats a no no in a Ducky mind. ha ha

Gotta run to make some Humming Bird food......they are so late this year. Usually they come in late April but I

saw only one little skinny one come to the feeder then. My daughter (since she's home) said she saw two yesterday

trying to get a drink from the roses. TTYL Vi

Tish if you keep this up you are going to have your own rescue centre. How are the peckerheads doing?

Peckerheads are doing okay. Lost one egg but they're sitting on the remaining one. It rolled out in the middle of the night about a week ago.

I'm seriously considering whether they are happy. It's going to take longer than I had hoped to build that aviary and to be honest, I am not sure I am doing them justice. I'm thinking about what I can do for them.

Tish....why do you think their not happy? Can they fly? Maybe u could just set them free out in the backyard.

Well, yes I believe he is but he'd be in the backyard with food and water. I don't know what they do in the winter there. ^o)

I don't think he is releasable, he would get plucked by a predator and or bullied by stronger pigeons. Any that can be released, could be. I just think that the new dog and pig have taken priority for now. Again, u don't have to breed them and can separate the hens from cocks and they r more than happy. I think because they r in a small cage environment, it stimulates them to breed. If outdoors or in a larger flight with no material, they may stop, or they may try to nest in a corner on the floor. Only way to stop them is divided them up. I like the zoo tho :).
