Sometimes "return" can be a good thing for both parties. Better to return than be uncaring or mean, better to return than just leave them.

I think the same about people....why do you put your baby in a trash can or leave in a gas station restroom or even worse! If you can't handle it take it to a church or ask a relative etc. I guess some people are just plain crazy. I don't get it. :(

U know looking back over that pig site I must say they seem to have a nice farm and they do have

cute pigs that look well taken care of. I also like their piggie houses. So I guess I'll stop pickin' at

her now. If people are willing to pay $5000 oh well...that only means they didn't do much research.

Here's a Kosha update. I got a makeshift harness on her. The one I bought, even though small, was too big so she could wiggle out of it when I had her on a leash. NOT GOOD. Anyway, I put my makeshift harness on her when she was eating breakfast. A hungry pig won't stop to complain if they're eating. That's too important, LOL.

So the harness and leash were on her all day. I wanted her to get used to the feel of the harness & leash. I would pick up the leash periodically and tug on it so she could feel what it feels like. Not too much protest.

A little while ago, I took her out to the backyard. She took off exploring while I held on the leash. Let me tell you, that little tiny 15 inch pig can haul ass. I had to run to keep up with her, HA. She then thought I was chasing her so she ran faster so I ran faster to keep up. And on it went until she panicked so I tugged on the leash to stop her. I picked her up and then set her down again. She was better second time around.

Now, this is the first time we've done this. If I do this a couple of times a day, pretty soon she'll be used to it and she should be leash trained in time for her spaying which is in about a month.

Vi, had I known, I would have put on my running shoes first, LOL.

Today was MUCH, MUCH better. I've started her on her potty training. I have been taking her outside in the front yard because there's much more grass -- the whole front is grass. She LOVES the grass. She's romping around, stopping to eat some clover, do her business, eat some more, etc. Now she's getting used to going outside. And she did not scream bloody murder being on the leash. While she doesn't like it, she's getting used to it.

Also, I am feeding her outside because when she gets bigger, it's going to be messy. This way she will associate the leash & outside with something pleasant.

She also found an area next to the house that is kind of out of sight from the street that she likes to root. So I'm going to allow her to root up that small area.

Ducky climbed over the baby gate and was in Kosha's area. They eyeballed each other and before Ducky could approach Kosha, I picked him up and gave him lots of love. I don't want him to feel left out and neglected.

I knew Duckey was going to get involved. He was just biding his time waiting for the right moment.

I have a feeling you are really going to have to keep a watch on him as he thinks he's the boss!

Now a pig and a dog........they must be inspected. B-) ha ha ha ha ha

Kosha is getting pretty good on the leash. I will say she has a STRONG instinct to root. I have given her a place out of the way where she's allowed to root. Tulip never had such a strong instinct to root. But then she's still a baby and that's how baby pigs get their iron -- from the soil.

Davey almost got bit. I was playing with Ducky and Davey jumped up on the couch. Ducky lunged but I stopped him before he got him as I saw it coming. Davey seems to be good with the birds. Mr. Peckerhead was out of his cage and Davey ignored him. Keep in mind that Davey was around birds wandering around such as chickens, a baby peacock and he never went after them. That doesn't mean I'm going to leave him alone with the birds but he's used to being around birds and not attacking them.
