My hubby and I were laughing because years ago we visited a Pig farm in the finger lakes and you got to hold the piglets and then see them in all the different ages. Of course the last stop was a restaurant - grrr - we left of course who could eat bacon after seeing those lovelies. I fell in love with pigs that day. |

Well I'm not surprised at all, a vet show I watch had a litter of them squealing like that when they tried to catch them by the back leg for neutering. Quite the guffah lol. |

Maryann, no she doesn't do that all the time. Tulip did not do that all the time either. Kosha only squeals like that when I'm restraining her. But it's something I have to go through now because I can physically control her. I can't take this up when she's older and much stronger. Ducky, bless his little heart, doesn't mind. Actually, come to think of it, the other birds are taking things in stride. Vi, I really laughed out loud at your daughter's reaction. That was funny. Cathy, I don't blame you for not being able to eat bacon after spending time with the pigs. Aso to Davey, he just watches. Remember, he spent the last few months of his life around pigs of all sizes. You have to admit, Kosha has quite a set of lungs on her, huh? Good thing Ducky doesn't decide to join in. Man, that would shake the walls, LOL. Edited by Tishrei, Aug 3 2011, 05:06 AM.

I'm glad u r able to do it tho, somebody has to. Can we get a pic of the dog tho??????? I'll go see if I have the min pin on my iPad or not. |

I went to take a photo today but alas, batteries are dead. The photo you provided looks like my dog except without the white and mine is a bit more rust colored. |

When I had Tulip, most of the noise was her oinking which isn't loud. Once she was out of babyhood, she didn't squeal at all. She'd walk around oinking or moaning and groaning if she was upset or wanted something. It wasn't loud at all. Kosha is basically just an infant. She'll outgrow that crazy screaming but it's just something I have to go through. I can't believe she can produce such a noise, LOL. It's unbelievable. |
