It has to be somewhere between my work and my house so I could check the birds out at least twice a day. This was I could have as much species as I like.

Pass that sounds expensive? Why not just pay one rent and get a bigger place that u and the birds can live. Why pay 1.5 rents and then the added pain in the butt of travelling.

If u hate ur landlord anyway, move along lol.

U mean those neighbors are complaining again? You need your own house with a built on aviary. I know eaiser said than done. Can you get your own house there?? or is it mostly apartments?? Too bad there's not
apartments above the bird store. That would be perfect.

Ya, I agree that one rent or mortgage is better than one of your own and then splitting half with another guy. Unless it is cheaper that way rather than going bigger on your own.

I would check out all options.

Yes I am still in thinking about my options mode.
Anyway, only one star finch hatched (my first one I'm so excited) however no body wants to feed it :(
He hatched under zebras but they decided to attack it. I saved him and transfered him to a pair of socieites. They didn't feed him all day long so off he went to his real parents who abandoned the nest once they saw the bub :(
Two full days and no one accepted to feed the bub so my last resort was another pair of societies and i don't know if they fed him cause I had to leave for work.
Tomorrow morning I will check but i think I'm not gonna like the outcome :(

Pass that sucks. I guess he is too different for anyone to deal with. It is very frustrating to let them die.

Cathy,
I will see them daily. It's not a problem. I don't see them all day long anyway since I am at work a large portion of the day.
Oh, and the star finch died :(
