Pass, mine are doing ok as well. I am feeding them and then when Inchy sees it he goes nuts, so I let him OUT of his cage and he jumps IN the brooder and tops them up after I have fed lol. So all are being medicated. So far so good.

What age do u band them?

Maryann,
Depending on the band size. I did not receive my Gould bands yet so i used the zebbies and was able to band only one of the bubs. I will band the others with open plastic bands.
The books say 10-13 days but I think it's way too long. 8-9 is better.

Ya I agree, mine r 7 days today, so may try tomorrow. Two are fairly similar in size and one is a tidge smaller for sure. So may wait an extra day for that one. I banded the two that died and the bands came off in the nest. So was probably a day or so too early. I bet the adults removed them.

Pass ... another photo that looks like it came from National Geographic! :)

Bubs look so clean and snug. Keep us posted on this group. You see there

get to be so many I get lost. Are any of those from dad #2? See I'm trying

to identify with one birdie. ha..... I'm a pain....but I really am interested.

Yup CBL,
8 days should be fine.

Vi,
These are from dad and mom number 1 :) I think there is a white baby in there which is very rare in Goulds, so I'm hoping for that.
