Pass I did that as of yesterday. He has all 5 now. I checked the crops tonite and they all look full enough and big enough to keep them thru the nite without having to pull the 3 smaller ones.

Doodoo thinks he is a master architect for sure. Nutcase. Oh well, it was his first go round. Maybe he will get better as he matures.

Oh Violet, I love double choc brownies, but who doesn't hahahahaha....
I hope the egg will hatch into a beautiful blue Gouldian, and I will keep u posted if it did.

Cathy,
Bubs are still pinky blobs, nothing to photograph. In a week, I will post pics.

Maryann,
Give Boo a bird mate and I am guessing he will make a great dad. He got exhausted brooding all day by himself. Even during daytime, male zebras only brood for a few hours and not continuously.

Pass I thought of that, but I know me, he will mate and I will keep all the bloody eggs and bubs, last time his parents and others layed 7 fertile eggs then either buried them or tossed them. I find that zebbies suck as parents.

I'll leave him for now. He enjoys pestering me.

Yes cathy,
a few days ago they were so tiny and in less than 20 days they will be flying. That is fast.

Societies are feeding them CBL.
