:)
3 survived till now, I am guessing one blue and 2 silvers. Maybe one blue, one pastel blue and one silver. We shall see.
Goulds are usually banded between 10 and 13 days old. I first try to band at 10 and if the legs are still too small will try every day till it fits right.

Pass, I read all your posts. Maryann, even though I'm not a breeder and don't have much to contribute in the way of responses, I still appreciate and love reading the posts. I totally got into the juggling baby birds from one nest to another, getting up in the middle of the night to feed, etc. I just don't know what to say without sounding ignorant.

Hope your husband feels better real soon. :D

Well I'm a "ditto" with what Tish said. It does seem to me though that after they are grown a little we never hear about them again. With the exception of Inchy and BooBoo. Now see.. we all know and remember Inchy and BooBoo and what they went through as babies. We know them.... and love to hear about their escapades.

So can't wait to see and hear about all the new little guys in your lives. Maybe we'll get a chance to know some of them. :)

Pass I think mine are 7 and 8 days and I banded the two larger ones. The smaller ones are 4 or 5 days I would have to go to the original posts to see when I posted the hatch.

Cant wait to see the colors of yours.

Booboo is still a goofhead, he wants his chick but just builds nests around him and doesnt feed, so I had to keep pulling them.

Now I just gave them all to Inchy, and I help out as well. Maybe one more day of night feedings and incubation and then I will leave them with Inchy 24/7.

Hubby is quite a bit better and now I am sick. We were able to go to UFC but I started a fever of 102.5 just in the nick of time to LEAVE and go home. The main event was a bore, but at least my canadian guy won.

Booboo is too funny in building nests but not doing the feeding. What's up with that? Does he figure that since he did the building, someone else has to do the feeding?

Maryann,
I think it's best to give them all to Inchy.
Vi,
Bubs are growing well, although we were hit by a storm and temperatures dropped to 15 degrees C (don't laugh if u live in cooler climate lol). So I fired off the heater to keep everybody warm.
Dad #2 is actually the mate of the girl that laid her eggs on the floor and broke them. However I saved one of the eggs and it is now with foster parents.
