Hhahaha Pass ur reply was too funny. Im on pins and needles waiting for mine to hatch. Even tho I raised these 3 bubs to fledge, I am so nervous that I dont kill the others. How do I know that with Inchy helping was the deciding factor that kept them alive with his enzymes and stuff in the beginning. I wont know if it was all me unless I do it 100% myself. Even tho he has been medicated for the protazoa and bacteria, I am still worried. Also, I dont want to aspirate any. I did ok with the paint brushes and thicker formula and then switching to crop feeding at day 3. That seems to be the ticket, but I still stress about it. |

I remove the first clutch from egg stage and then give them the chance to raise the second clutch. For now my Goulds have their eggs. |

At what point would u remove the chicks. Same day as hatching or next? I am afraid to leave mine overnite as I found the two dead that time. If I dont see them feed within the first few hours, I will yank them. |

Always the end of the next day CBL, unless the parents were tossing and hurting the chicks, in that case immediately they get transfered. |

But Pass, mine hatched out and they were gaping strongly, the parents didnt feed after 4 hours or so I gave a feed and then again at end of day, went to bed at 10pm and 8am next day they were dead in the nest with the parents and I dont know if they didnt sit on them and they froze or if they squashed them or if they starved them. Im not waiting that long. I'd be too nervous that they would dehydrate and die. |
