Ok, this is it. I have eggs in both nests, the PB'st are 2 days ahead of the yellow and the lilac. So one has 2 and the yellow has one egg. I have Inchy set up with a nest now and will give him a few eggs when I see the others start to sit. I hope it all works out this time. I got the lighting right, the eggfood and the water. Keeping it all simple. So am hoping for the best. Have the pipettes on order and hope I wont need them. Budgies are breeding but still no eggs, has been 10 days since the first mating, so hopefully any day now. |

Awesome, silver blue??? Is one silver and one blue? And what will they produce visually? Ok, Pass, tell me in detail everything you do when they hatch. What u feed the parents, how often u check the boxes/nest, and again what exactly u feed the bubs and how many times a day and how long for your supplementation I want to give my bubs EVERY chance and survival this time.

Ok Pass, I dont like the look of the yellow hen now. Late yesterday she seemed less active and slightly fluffed. Worried about egg binding, HOW the hell, I dont know, she has tons of grit/shell and I give her eggs and egg shell daily and she eats them. Anyway. This morning she seemed fluffed so I gave her sugar water in the beak and put a heat lamp at the top of one end of the cage. Hopefully this gives her the strength she needs to go ahead and continue laying without further worry. |
