Wouldn't it be nice if breeders started to breed for budgies who were super healthy and lived longer instead of just appearance. Our lovely little budgies and finches and canaries they live too short a life.

Wouldn't that be wonderful? I wish.

That's what's happening to potbelly pigs. They take the smallest of the pigs and breed them with another small pig and breed down the size and then don't feed the pigs enough so they are stunted. That is so wrong and cruel. Shortens the life of the pig. I could go on an on about these issues but you get the point.

Makes me crazy I was reading online about some breeders of chihuahuas that were trying to breed them smaller. Okay how much smaller do you need to get. Whenever breeders intervere with mother nature its always a bad thing. I think they breed the good temperment out of these animals too
