The first two pics are of the yellow, black & white hen. She was the one who sat on the eggs. The last is the green canary, gender unknown!

Oh aren't they so pretty. I have a feeling you are going to get a lot of Songs.

Why wouldn't they....look at the nice clean bright houses they have.

Good job. :)

I like the hens colors. They look to be the same type of canary but not sure unless I could hear a video clip of the song. Too slim and tall to be fifes. Could be anything really, like american singers or song canaries, or who the heck knows, need that song.

They are absolutely gorgeous I love the colours, I am sure in time they will sing. You have given these two a happy home and that is so wonderful

They wont necessarily sing if they are hens. They may chirp a bit and put a few notes together, but only the males sing. For as long as u have had them, and eggs and stuff, if they are NOT moulting, then they are hens if not singing. Unless sick or moulting or fear, they would have sung by now.

Terry said he heard a few notes this morning, but I'm guessing hens, and lonely ones at that. They have not been near as chatty as when they were together. I'm gonna keep an eye on them this weekend, when I'm actually home, and if they don't perk up, I'm gonna put them back together.

Maybe you need to get them a man birdie in there to liven things up a bit. :$

If they are hens, they will be happier together. Dont get a male unless u want a LOUD bird and I mean LOUD. Loud as outside birds. The hens will be more than happy with eachothers company.

Simply enjoy them for what they are. No reason to keep them separate anymore. :)
