After last nights mishaps ( one little budgie found a hole in the wall and decided to go down and get stuck) i decided i was gonna turn my double flight cage into a more aviary like cage

So rather then being like 64" and 22" wide its now a lovely 30" long " 30 Wide" and like 35" talll (cage itself)

I have to go out to kents tonight and find something to make a tray as the regular trays don't work so well but other then that i love it! I'm just hoping my little flock of 18 will enjoy it aswell since they have to be stuck in there now.

Well I was gonna ask about the tray and say what a great job, if u dont have to move the cage, u can leave it without a bottom, just the way u have it and just replace the papers. But I saw online that a guy used cardboard trays for his stacked cages and he said every few months he just tossed them out. They were custom folded and fitted to his cages and being made of cardboard, they r easy to replace. Either way, good work, it looks GREAT. We need some close up pics of ur bubs all grown up now tho.

Alright so i finally made the tray for the cage and i think it turned out well. Now none of them can be trying to squeeze out of the bottom and it will hold their mess nicely.
