Crazy Bird Lady

Well, I feel comfortable now and fairly optimistic to load these pics.

Remember when I had the two gouldian bubs from the egg, the mutation one died. Well, when I went back to Nathans to pick up my cage, he was selling the parents of these 3 bubs, so I said they will abandon the nest if they move them. So I paid him 10 bucks a bird to take the bubs at @ 7 days old.

I didnt want the second egg bub to raise alone, ultimately it got sick and died as well. These 3 are doing well, one of them had to be medicated using both Pass recipe and baytril injections.

So here they are. Feathering up and Pass, a weird green color? I dont remember the guy in keswicks birds being green, I thought they were grey??? I will have to go back and see the pics. They soon came around tho.

Posted ImageWhen I got these their crops were fairly empty and they were VERY dry looking.

They are looking good CBL. The green color is normal. Their fronts are usually beige grey and their backs are green.
The one that are completely grey are the blue ones. I'll post pics of mine tomorrow and you'll see the difference they are one blue, one green and one pastel blue.

Ya, Pass said that not often do they have the long tail, so I will breed him the second the orange faced hen is finished moulting and then Im gonna breed the blackface white chested male to the yellow hen and it will give me red headed yellow males. :)

And the two orange heads will give me all orange heads male and female.
