You know, I really, really like the big birds. As you know, Ducky is so incredibly special to me. He's lovable, smoochable, loving and annoying at the same time He can give an aspirin a headache -- but dang, he's one awesome bird. Don't get me wrong, I really love the Mertz's and Pippy -- they really are funny together. Just this morning, they were flying around -- all three of them together as a flock from cage to curtain rod and back again. They were just as silly as can be. I happened to notice this morning that Fred seems to be trying to imitate Pippy. I think Pippy is confused that she's really a parrot and tries to act like the budgies and now the budgies are trying to imitate the parrotlet. I think I have an identity crisis going on here. Ducky thinks he's a human -- heck, I don't know what I am anymore. If you do end up taking her, I can say you will so love the bigger birds -- they seriously are AWESOME!!! |

Tish I already love the big birds, have for years, just the noise and big bites I cannot handle. And yet this bird showed amazing tolerance. Even when I had to clip 3 nails to get the blood, she gave me verbal heck and didnt bite me. She/he was amazing and showed great tolerance. I hope I see her again soon. Fingers crossed she is a hen. |

Yeah, the noise can get to you. Fortunately Ducky has toned it down and really doesn't make much noise anymore. The bites -- well not much can be done about that. If you have a big bird, you will get bit at some point. Maybe not a lot but it will happen sooner or later. Fortunately for me, it doesn't happen all that often. |

Ya the thing that worries me is the unsuspecting bites, like if I am forcing an step up, or grabing the bird, I can anticipate a possible bite, but its those unsuspecting ones and if anywhere around the face or eyes, this concerns me the most. |

Well I seems she has made an impact on everyone. Its a shame about those bites....I would be very, very afraid. She has a very sweet and loving face and doesn't look like she would ever hurt anyone but I know that is just silly of me. I wish her the very best and pray that she finds a wonderful home and love. |

Hahaha Pass, thats a good play on words, I LOVE it, and I sure do have a bleeding heart for them, thats for sure, any hard luck case makes me want to take good care. I called after her today and was thrilled to hear that he has let her out of the cage so she can set on top, he is going out to buy her fruits and veggies and I gave him a 2 page list of foods she ate here in those two days. I am hopeful.

Well Im still trying to figure out this guy, one sec he says, oh its not the money, its a life, and then nexst second he is brokering birds and selling for a profit. Sometimes I think he just says the good things to string me along. Time will tell. |
