I'm so happy today, :D
My Gould hatched 4 bubs and she's feeding them... This is her first time raising bubs so fingers crossed she'd make a nice job.
Sorry no pics yet cause the nest is very deep and I don't want to remove the top to take photos.
But in a few days of course.

Ok, trouble in paradise.

Dad killed one bub then tossed it. SO off they went to a zebras nest.

Here's dad:

Mom:

and the remaining bubs:

CBL,
Don't you think it's a bit weird that we are having the same bubs and the same mutations at the same time ^o)
Fawn societies, then white zebras then different skin tones in Goulds... HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Pass, how do u know dad killed it BEFORE he tossed it out, was it all bitten and bloody? Did it die of trauma or just cold from being tossed?

What color mutation is dad?

Cause I saw dad going out of the nest with bub in his beak and then he dropped it on the floor. Bub was warm but bloody and bitten. He even was fed :(
Mom has been out of the nest for a good 30mn so it wasn't her. She's the sweetest thing and she even let me watch her feeding them this morning. I am very sad I had to remove them cause she was being a great mom.

Dad is BH WB Pastel Blue (aka Silver).

Pass can't you leave the babies with mom and kick dad out??????

I hate that they kill their babies. I don't understand that...what he did was deliberate.

P.S. Mom is beautiful. She looks very deeply colored for a girl.
