Here is a video clip and also a pic of Inchy teaching booboo how to fricken PIERCE my flippin ear, that hurt lol. Click on and check BOTH video clips :)

P.S. the last fertile egg is in drawdown, due this eve or tomorrow. I hope to God he survives, so far out of 6 bubs both budgies and canaries, I have lost two during hand feeding. My plan is to acidify the water before heating and chasing with vit/anti biotic water.

Photo & videos -- DARLING.

Of course he wants to pierce your ear -- your earlobe is this hangy funny looking thing for birds to pull on. ^o)

I'm with Cathy... "Boo Boo" steals my heart too.

But, that "Finchy" is quite the handsome man.

Great pics....looks like a lot of eggs. Will they eat all that? Are those just chopped up hard boiled eggs?

I tried to give that to the budgies one time but they wouldn't touch it. I've learned now that they are slow to try something new.

Ya it is just mashed egg, but I put most of it in the fridge, I just gave them a smaller bowl so they would not poop in it. That was just the photo op bowl lol.

Very soon CBL :)
You will see an orange hue that will deepen day by day. It usually starts around 30 days of age..

Ya, I am seeing a bit of a pinkish hue coming now so that is what made me ask :) Cool, wasnt aware that it would happen so fast. Will u be able to tell if he is hen or cock being all white? I still read now and then that no matter what color, the males red beaks are a brighter shad of red than hens????
