Ok so I am in the bathroom, cleaning up the room, its such a mess. I have both the baby budgies AND Inchy the finch out while I clean, so I see this stray EYEBROW hair and decide to pluck a few. Well Inchy sees this and flys right over to help me out, except he lands on my hand and plucks out an eyeLASH !!!! hahah what a cute little helpful painful monkey. This bird is the tamest most inquisitive bird I have had, followed closely by smarty pants the yellow canary hen. But this finch is so observant. He/she watches EVERYTHING and is so gregarious and fearless, its amazing. These little creatures constantly amaze me. Now she flies over to the baby green bub and asks to be preened. She feels more comfortable with budgies than with finches. I actually put her with both thruout the day for socialization. But she is much more comfy with these two budgies only, she is afraid and wary of cricket and any other bird. She obviously knows the language of baby budgies, thats for sure. |

CBL what a cute story. Is "Inchy" the finch that grew up with the budgie. The one we all said look like friends forever? You guys keep having babies. Once again I'm having trouble keeping up with them all. How is "Candy" doing. Any new pics of her? |

Yes the very finch and she loves both budgies. The green opaline second round bub is an english thru and thru, u can really see the size difference in the head and body compared to the first one with the finch. I have introduced Inchy to the new bub and they love each other, funny she bonds better with the budgie bubs than the other finches. I got pics of them preening eachother today. cute.

By the way, the green one is bigger than the blue one and is pure English budgie. Not sure who she mated with but would have to go with the green opaline male that I named Romeo. |
