Yes they are so beautiful... This morning I counted 14 tiny bubs, 2 slightly older ones and 4 that fledged recently so it's a total of 20 bubs. Still have one pair with eggs and another pair laying and that's it: RESTING TIME FOR EVERYBODY, including myself.
Oh, I forgot that my Gould is brooding 6 eggs and 4 bengies hatched yesterday morning.

Hi,
Here's a little update on my nests:

nest #1: 5 zebra bubs (7-8 days old)
nest #2: 5 zebra bubs (7-8 days old)
nest #3: 3 zebra bubs (7-8 days old)
nest #4: 3 zebra bubs (7-8 days old)
nest #5: 5 zebra eggs due soon
nest #6: 3 bengies (4 days old)
nest #7: 5 Gould eggs with Bengies

All my zebra bubs are of unusual colors and i carefully selected the parents. But with so many bubs lost the past rounds due to illnesses I'm keeping my hopes somewhat low as per how many of them would make it.

The bengies hatched 4 bubs with one being white with red eyes but they never fed him and he died :'( . They are however feeding the 3 black ones. This pair is my worst pair of bengies as parenting skills go so I'm glad they are raising anything at all.

I won't be smothering you with further long updates about all these nests but I will post photos regularly if you like :P
