Wow! That is one beautiful cage CBL. You are right . It is a work of art! Wonder where he got a cage like that.

Seems like you are now on to finches. How is the new budgie looking and what about the FD?

Is this the same breeder that we talked about before? You know the older guy? Is he trying to get rid of his flock?

You have soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many and I have sooooooo many questions. What about the beautiful English budgie?

Got my dog book today. Well, I turned to page 29 like you said. Shoot...I think I might have to be some kind of Vet to figure that out. Anyway I just had time to glance at it. Will look at it harder later. ha ha
Vi, the gouldian guy built that cage himself!! I had to have it when he said he was selling it. As I said, he wanted 50 but I offered 40 and I knew he would call me back lol.

I am in to any bird really, It is just because I rescued those zebbies, and I have always wanted gouldians, but like an idiot, I turned down a few from my other breeder friend at the time I was overwelmed with birds. He took his male plus a hen back from his friend and he is gonna try to breed, if he does, he said he would give me a bub, or if they dont breed, I can have that pair. The dad is a single factor red faced green. Which I believe looks like a yellow body.

Feather duster is doing very well, she is in MUCH better feather than when I got her. The difference is unbelievable. I gave her winsmore pigeon vitamins, and she gets a mixture of budgie, finch, canary, eggfood, pellets all in the same bowl and this seems to work well with the millet spray. She is so fluffy now. I am thrilled, she is gorgeous in my eyes. I really love this mutation.

Budgie bub is growing fast, and very hungry. Finch doesnt gape anymore, doesnt seem interested in food at all, but I keep its crop full with the crop needle. Not sure what may be wrong, but he will gape a bit and take a few mouthfuls if I tap his face with my finger. He is not begging like he used to tho. Still growing well tho.

Dont worry about the dog book tho, just read and re read, and when u put the ingredients together, it will become much easier. Dont worry about being too anal and it will all be fine. Email me with any questions.

He's a male unless he's a very colorful female and I doubt that. Isn't he singing yet?

I have not heard him sing, but the owner said he was singing and jumping to his mother and the father chased him away. :) Also, if he sees himself in the mirror, will he recognize himself as another male and NOT sing?

Goulds like to sing in groups so the mirror could not be the reason. The colors I see in the pics are those of a young male.
