Well, the pair with the zebra baby won't be hatching any more eggs it seems, however baby zebra is thriving :)

But another pair gave me a little bub and YAY!!! it's my first Bengie: :wub:

Congrats, finally hahah u must be so happy, although, I like the zebbies size and shape better, I have two pairs set up hoping one will give me bubs. :)

Okay Pass do not get offended but the bengie looks spooky. Can you post a picture facing the bird, these little guys really amaze me. Does not matter how many times I see the new born bubs I still cannot believe something that little and fragile grows so quickly into a feathered bird.

Pass the first picture of the little bub, they have alot of black, is that their eyes or just skin colouring, I am amazed that these little finches are so delicate and appear fragile yet are so full of life. I never paid attention to them much before I starting following your birds, now I always spend sometime at the store watching them. They are gorgeous and so interesting to watch

The black is their eyes and beak. SInce they are black-brown (color mutation) they get a lot of black pigment on the beak. You will notice that CBL's bub was almost pink at birth cause he's a different color mutation.
