I think for maryann it would always be a "work in progress" with that many cages. Maryann you need to post photos of the cages etc., in the bathroom.

Do I need to sit down first and get some chocolate for shock before you post them though?
;) :P

Honestly maryann, i don't know how you do it. I think its time to invest in a different style cage lol. Personally if it were me with all them birdies i'd be looking at something like

Very costly but when yo think of how many cages you can take away and off your stuff in the end, Yup i think its worth it.

Recently degrade myself. All i have up are 2 double stacked cages and 1 smaller cage. Right now conure pair one are in a big cage, budgies in a big cage, Then Slush is in a cage and the babies are in a big cage. Everyone els is thrown in a cage somewhere

Enna, the problem is this, I have 3 big flight cages, two indoors and one out. But, some of the birds fight or dont get along and need to be segregated. So I put up with the extra cages for their own safety. I condense when I can. Some hens pick on others and pluck, some males fight, some try to mate, so all have to be divided up. The bathroom cages are only a few, two hospital cages and an incubator type plastic one for the young chicks and fledglings. Enna, the only way I can condense any further is to not replace what dies off.

I feel very lucky. Nobody fights or picks or acts ugly. Thank goodness or I would not be able to handle it because I'm not here all day.

Maryann wouldn't it be nice to win the lottery and be able to build a real bird room with all the walk in cages. Thats my dream
