Oh thats so great, cannot wait to see pics. I believe you truly have MBS now. Welcome to the club.
LOL ... what is "MBS?"

She really is a sweety pie. She's outside with the Mertz's (Fred & Ethel). No, they're not in the same cage but in separate cages side by side which is in the big cage (for their safety). All three really seem to be enjoying themselves as they are chirping like mad.

Last night, Pippy spent a lot of time nestled under my ponytail. It was really funny and cute. She did not want to go back to her cage so I let her stay nested under my ponytail. I was waiting to hear her snore LOL.

I let her and the Mertz's fly around. Ducky just stood there watching the antics of these three birds flying around. It was funny to watch. The Mertz's don't stay out, they fly around for a little bit and they fly right back to their cage. Not Pippy, she wanted to stay out so I let her. When I put her in her cage, I knew she wanted out because she would hang on the side of the cage and not perch. She was perched this morning when I woke up.

I'll have to get photos so I can post pics of the Mertz's and Pippy. All those pics that I've been posting of Ducky are old ones. Here's a photo of of what Pipply looks like though it's not of her.

Oh Trish ... she sounds so sweet. Can't wait to see the real "Pippy!"

Hope Ducky doesn't get too jealous.

Is she a baby?

Yeah, she's still a little one. She's not even a year old yet. My friend is going to try and find out when she hatched her way into this world. You know, she's smaller than Fred & Ethel. Her tail is shorter so she's definately smaller from head to tip of tail. Her length is close to their length but they seem to be a bit bigger. She has a parrot beak where the Mertz's don't. Her beak is shaped like Ducky's but MUCH SMALLER. She likes to nibble on my finger.

For a parrot, Ducky is not a big boy but he sure seems big now LOL compared to Fred, Ethel & Pippy. He seems huge.

I'm really excited about Pippy. I just need to get her wings clipped which is happening tomorrow. The reason I'm going to clip them is I need to get her trained and it's not going to work if she keeps flying off if she doesn't want to do something .... LOL. I need to get a bit of control and teach her things like "step up." RIght now if she flys off and is unsure what to do, she waits for me to pick her up. She won't step up, she just sits there and I have to wrap my hands around her body. I don't want to do that, I want her to step up.

I can't wait until tomorrow when she's clipped. She already trusts me so I don't think I'm going to have much of a problem training.

Thanks everybody for listening!!!

How is Ducky handling the new arrival, I know you are keeping them apart, but how is ducky handling the time you spend with the new one?

Ducky is doing remarkably well with the new arrival. He doesn't seem to be exhibiting any jealousy. This morning he was on top of Pippy's cage. He wasn't paying any attention to her, he was just perched there preening himself and then started screaming for breakfast (I was in the midst of cooking it for him). Pippy didn't seem concerned about Ducky on top of his cage, she was eating some millet while Ducky was preening himself.

They can never be together without bars between them for it would be deadly for Pippy. I did take Pippy out and hold her while Ducky could see me and he didn't give a bad reaction.

I think this is going to work out just fine.
