Its probably safer to feed cooked corn or at least blanched as corn has a fungus called smut and can get the bird sick. Fungal & Yeast Infections What is a fungal infection? There are several types of fungi that affect birds, but the most common is the Aspergillus fungus. This fungus is usually associated with seed, corn. Mine love the cooked a bit better as I put a bit of salt and butter for them. |
