Well they have arrives. I was slightly dissapointed with how they were shipped. Just a little sprinkle of food on the bottom mixed in with shavings. Lease it was only like 3 hour flight. I got them home and into there cages and they dug right into the food once they got settled enough. I also think i did not get a pineapple either that or i cannot tell the difference between a pineapple and cinnamon cause they look soo darn much alike. Skittles parents, now named skeeta and skoota, are very timid birds. Can't walk past without them freaking out. They were use as breeders and breeders only with very little contact. Meanwhile Rex and Princess (gosh allison chose some cute names for all 4 imo) and quite friendly. They do freak a little but are getting better. I went to stick some apple in all cages and they came running over to chow down. Yea yea, you all want pictures so here ya go. They are beautiful. Skeeta & Skoota ![]() ![]() ![]() Rex & princess ![]() ![]() ![]() You guys see much of a difference? They both look like cinnamons to me. Their Home ![]() And of course, Can't leave skittles out of the crazy conure party. ![]() ![]()

I just got an email back here is what he said I don't know about a pineapple, but she definately got a lemon. Neither of those is a pineapple, and they are even bad cinnamons. The best she can hope is they are actually a pair and that the cock is atleast split yellow side. sorry |

The Male is suppose to be split for Ys so i would get some pineapple babies even if they are both Cinnamons. The Ys pair produce some amazing babies! Wont be setting up for a while as i want to get them on a better diet and i notice the cinnamons have some stress bars so i'd rather wait till they are gone. |

Right, In this picture ![]() You see the olive tone in there with the light green, They should not be there. the wings should look like these Those are stress bars. "Feather growth requires a myriad of nutrients for normal feather development. Therefore, if there is disruption in the assimilation of nutrients during the time of feather development, this will result in the production of stress bars on the feathers. Stress bars appear as black or depigmented lines that transect a feather, and multiple lines may occur at different levels on the feathers, if multiple bouts of disruption have occurred' I'm not to sure budgies get them. i've never seen a budgie with them. |

I had posted up close clear pics of stress bars on this site somewhere. Any bird can get them. google stressbars and u will see the pics. it looks like somehone was sewing and the needle tracks are visible along the width of any given feather. It kind of looks like lace, you can see daylite thru the feather when u should not. I believe I took pics of chili when he had them. |
