Pass, how old do u start breeding ur goulds? I read that 2 years to 3 even for a first clutch. I want to breed that orange head couple and the yellow with the white breasted male. How long should I wait then?

Pass, I think the of the 3 gouldian bubs I have, 2 r males and one is a hen, here is my theory.
The one has a smaller gape and the voice is a bit different when beggin for food.

Also, one of them has what looks to be a lighter greyish eyebrows over the eyes. Ever so sublte difference but they look like eye stripes over the top of the eye. Time will tell tho.

Thanks CBL....I always wonder about Candy but don't want to ask too much.

You must take really good care of her....she looks great. I love the blue tips around her face.

She has already exceeded her expected life span hasn't she?

Well, she has done better than most. I got her in Oct 09 and she was 6 months old then. So she is about 11 months old. I think Curly Sue died at 10 monthsish. Hopefully, she will continue to do well.

Oh she will. I can just feel it. :)

How is everything with you. The weather here has been sooooo rainy and dark.

Only thing it's bringing out are the ants!!!! Hope the sun shines soon. :)

I put the baby goulds with the adults today for a visit and it went REALLY well. Back in the bathroom now for a rest and will do it again tomorrow. Also set up the Norwich now. Hopefully, we shall see some fertile eggs soon.

Will load pics soon.
