Welcome to JUICED - a general chat community that focuses on providing an enjoyable place to visit and participate in. JUICED was first established in early April as a closed community; meaning that registrations were only allowed for 24 hours once a month. The idea worked surprisingly well, though it tried up after a few months and we ultimately decided to open the community for good. After another few months and a unsuccessful merge, we're back, and this time, we're here to stay!

Guests who are not registered or logged in only have access to viewing the Community Information sector. To post, participate in the community and ultimately become a member of a fast-growing general chat forum, please take a few minutes to Register!

I remember someone asking that question one time. God is meant to be all powerful and can do all things. So if he can do all things he should be able to create a rock where he can't pick it up. But if he could do that and can't pick up the rock, he wouldn't be all powerful and do all things. But if he couldn't create a rock where he couldn't pick up, then he can't do all things either.

It's like telling someone to blink without blinking in other words. Kill this guy without killing him. Jump off a cliff without jumping off a cliff. That kind of thing. Just some nut thought it up to challenge how God is so almight and powerful. Then again, we have never "SEEN" God so how do you know if he is in physical form and not a spirit?

I believe in God. I admit, some of the facts seem twisted and hard to believe, but I've been taught to believe them so I do. Though, don't get me wrong, I'm not one to live off religion, if you know what I mean.

Gloria, where are you Gloria?
You found a home
In all your scars and ammunition
You made your bed in salad days
Amongst the ruin
Ashes to ashes of our youth

So it's an oxymoron... that's how people go to Hell! :#

This is my view on the Earth being perfect it must have been created by God.

There are billions of billions of planets in our universe, so many we coulsnt possible understand how big the universe is! How many planets don't have life? How many times did it go through the stages of getting to life and not working. How many times was it just a little bit to hot, or a little to cold. There are billions of times when it went wrong, it wasn't right, so ife as we know it didn't exist.

Standing on Earth a planet full of life it's easy to say we are in the perfect situation God must have created it. But if you were an outsider looking at the universe and stat came through that only 1 out of billions and billions and billions (etc.) of planets had life I'm sure the conditions wouldn't seem to perfect.

My actual opinion on religion is different though. I say everyone has the right to their own views and if you believe in God that is absolutly fine. I think religion is a massive benefit to many people, especially when coping with difficult situations.

But my problem is when religion is a tool that is used to justify certain issues... and boy it is! Just in the other topic about homosexuality people were quoting the bible to justify their reason for discriminating. I just wish people could step back and form their own opinions regardless of their teachings.

If you want to know the one thing God CAN'T do is break his promise. He promised to never flood the Earth again and he made a rainbow to seal the deal. We can break our promise to someone else but God CAN'T do it.

Anyone want to give me a scientific answer as to how a rainbow forms when theres rain? The story of Noah's ark was the reason I believed in God because of the rainbow, noone has given me a scientific answer as to how a rainbow forms yet.
