I'll post my member's page code here soon. I just need to clean it up some. It's what I was working on back before Christmas when I got busy and had to put it all down. At the time I was trying to create a 'sort'. I got it partially done, but had problems retaining the string when the paginate was used. The issue was giving the option to use the extra parts of the string (when the sort was used) or not when paginating.... I think, really, I haven't been thinking in PHP for months now, so I'm rusty. See.... My Members - view all Now, if you're a member of my site, log in before doing this... then click "View Online", this gives you a list of all members who are logged in. I did this by joining the two tables "Users" and "Active Users" so I could collect the User data from "Users" and "timestamp" from the "Active Users" table. Now, before you go crazy joining tables... it's not advised. This example is ok, but joining large tables will slow down your site. Also, if you wanted to do your "member is online" on the user's profile, simply collect the username from GETS. Edited by bustya, Mar 24 2008, 08:44 AM.

In the page userinfo I want to show if someone is online or offline but if you're online he displays always a red offline.. How can I fix this? And an another question.. I used your code for a list of all the members to see if they're online/offline and it is working, but I want that you can click on the displayed usernames. How can I make this? |
