ONION PIE

Peel and slice (very thin) enough onions to fill a pastry lined pie dish evenly. Salt the onions, mix well and let set for 15 minutes. Drain onions and put in pie shell. Sprinkle with about 2 T flour, add 1 cup cream. Stir with fork. Dot with butter and sprinkle with pepper. Bake in 400 degree oven until nice and brown (about 45 minutes). This pie should be eaten while still warm.
