I cook mine a little longer than 3 minutes.

CITRUS BRUSSELS SPROUTS

1 pkg Brussels Sprouts
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. orange rind, grated
1/8 tsp. cardamom, ground
1 cup orange juice
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp. margarine (or butter)
1/8 tsp. basil, crushed

Place frozen brussels sprouts in a container and cover with water. Place on stovetop and bring to a boil. Boil 3 minutes, drain. combine cornstarch, orange rind and cardamom in a small sauce pan, gradually add orange juice and lemon juice, mixing well. Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly. Stir in margarine and basil. Place sprouts in serving bowl, spoon orange sauce over top.
