Pork Chop Casserole

4-6 pork chops
3 cups water (I use 2 3/4 cup)
1 cup rice, uncooked
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
1 tsp salt
1 tsp dried parsley
1/4 tsp pepper

Z adds:
1 onion, diced
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms, or 4.5 oz can mushroom stems and pieces

Their directions and mine, combined:

1. Season chops with garlic powder and seasoned salt. Saute chops in skillet until browned. Transfer to slow cooker.

2. Layer onion over chops. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over chops in cooker.

3. Cover. Cook on Low 6-8 hours, or High 3-4 hours.
