Grape Pie This was shown on the FIRST show with Paula Deen's sons. UNFORTUNATELY, they do NOT give the recipes. BUMMER. So, I wrote the lady who owns the bakery and asked if she would share the recipe. I "KNEW" that the answer would be NO, I am sorry. Well, within 12 hours, I had the recipe. I made it this weekend and we LOVE it. Sweetie Pies Grape Pie About 2 pounds Cabernet Grapes* ($) ¼- ½ cup sugar 2 T Lemon juice 2 T Orange juice 1 T cornstarch ¼ teaspoon Cinnamon Mix all the ingredients together and put in pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1-11/2 hours - make sure the liquid has thickened up and is bubbling. Let pie cool and serve. *You can also use Concord grapes. Sweetie Pies Bakery www.sweetiepies.com ($) I used Black Seedless Grapes. They were nice and fat and just the right amount of sweetness. BY: mamamama Posted: 09.11.06, 5:04 am |
