saw this on a blog. Sounds fantastic, doesn't it?![]() Fruit + Pasta+ Yummy Sauce = warm weather entertaining salad! In one bite you get a juicy grape, a hunk of ham, carbo-licious pasta and the to-die-for-dressing you’ll want to use on every salad. Macaroni Salad Veronique (1) 7 ounce package shell macaroni 2 C Cubed cooked ham (if this is not small enough you may want to chop it even more) 2 C Seedless Grapes, halved 1/2 C Sliced Green onions 1. Cook pasta. Drain 2. Combine next 3 ingredients and toss with dressing. Dressing 1/2 C Mayo 1/2 C Sour Cream 2 TBSP Apple Cider Vinegar 1 1/2 TBSP Dijon Mustard 1 TSP Sugar 1/s TSP White Pepper 1/4 – 1/2 TSP Dried Whole DIll (I used 1/2) 1/4 TSP Season Salt Combine and toss. Let sit over night to let the flavors mix. Enjoy! Edited by Lisa, Aug 1 2011, 08:52 AM.

I C&P'd that yesterday, got interupted, and forgot to reply. I'm thinking you could use diced chicken breasts, but my dad likes ham, so ham it is. I make a chicken salad that pretty much has the same ingredients, except the pasta, and dressing. I think I'll use the small shells. I like the combo of crunchy and soft, sweet and tangy ingredients. So, maybe I'll add a bit of finely diced celery or apple. i'm thinking my dad won't like the grapes, or apple, but I'm gonna try it. Sounds great. CHARLENE, I thought you might want to correct the 11 1/2 TBSP Dijon mustard. I'm assuming that it is 1 1/2 TBSP. Edited by tigerlily, Jul 31 2011, 03:15 PM.

This recipe looks delicious! It would be good with ham or chicken or shrimp or whatever. I hadn't noticed that measurement on the Dijon! Wow, that would be a lot. I think it must mean 1-1/2 Tbsp. too. You should be able to go back in and edit it with no problem. Man, I don't think I've used that much Dijon in 5 years!
