Family Secret BBQ Sauce 2 cups ketchup (main ingredient) 2 sticks of butter (main ingredient) 2 tbs. mustard 1 tbs. vinegar liquid smoke- couple squirts 2 tbs. molasses 2 tsp. minced garlic tabasco- couple drops 1 tbs. sweet pickle relish worcestershire sauce- couple drops Cook the ingredients for about a 1/2 hour on low to med-low heat. Use the vinegar to thin it out, if necessary. When you make the ribs, throw them in the oven with a little water, vinegar and garlic salt (cover with foil) for 30-40 minutes before grilling. Or try this sauce on whatever you have on the grill. |

This is a great Sauce recipe. Let me add one option to this sauce and many more. Instead of vinegar to thin it out, you may want to add the juice from your peppers that have been used. I say this because I'd add hot peppers to this great recipe.
