I got this recipe from one of the ladies at Curves after we had it at our annual White Elephant party after Christmas this year. This one dish was the absolute hit of the party and everyone wanted copies of it. Including me! I made this today and it was fantastic! Even my husband was raving about it! It's a keeper. BROCCOLI SALAD Recipe from Petra Croucher 1 bunch broccoli ½ pound cooked bacon, crumbled 1 medium red onion, finely chopped 1 cup Craisins (or raisins if preferred) ½ cup sesame seeds, toasted Dressing ½ cup plain yogurt ½ cup mayonnaise ½ cup Splenda (or sugar if preferred) 2 Tbsp. white vinegar Remove flowerets from stalk and cut into bite sized pieces. Mix broccoli, red onion, sesame seeds, Craisins (or raisins) and bacon. Mix dressing and pour over broccoli mixture. Marinate 1 to 2 hours before serving. Low calorie, low fat option: Turkey bacon can be substituted if desired or use 4 slices of regular bacon and remove the fatty parts. Lowfat mayonnaise This is simply the best tasting broccoli salad I’ve ever found. I used Craisins, Splenda and Mountain High plain yogurt. |

This is a fantastic salad and I'v made it many times, but my recipe didn't call for yogurt in the dressing. I think it was just mayo-vinegar & sugar, and also used pecans instead of sesame seeds. I'll be trying your way real soon! |

I make the dressing like Lisa and use sunflower seeds instead of sesame seeds. I usually use raisins but will try the Craisins next time. Love this salad! |

Oooh, sunflower seeds would be good in it! I love sesame seeds, especially toasted, but the little suckers do get stuck in your teeth. Next time I'll try half sesame, half sunflower. |

I make this often too. I don't use raisins and I add grated cheddar. |
