Sweet Slow-Cooker Ribs Yield: 3 racks ribs Ingredients 2 tablespoons cornstarch 6 tablespoons cold water 1 (81/4-ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained 1 1/2 cups orange juice 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar 2 tablespoons soy sauce 2 tablespoons apple-cider vinegar 1 tablespoon honey 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 4 pounds baby back ribs (3 racks) 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon pepper Directions 1.In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in water; set aside. 2.In a small heavy saucepan, combine pineapple, orange juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, honey, and ginger. Bring to a boil over medium heat on stovetop. Whisk in cornstarch mixture; boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat, and let cool. 3.Sprinkle ribs evenly with salt and pepper. Place in racks in Crock Pot® Barbecue Pit Countertop Slow Roaster. Close lid and cook on High for 5 hours, basting with pineapple sauce once every hour. |
