Spaghetti Pie

When my kids were small they refused to eat leftover spaghetti so I turned it into pie and called it a new meal.

I just mixed the leftover sauce with the cooked noodles, put it in a pie tin, topped it with some fresh parmesan and some mozzarella and baked it until the cheese melted and the pie was hot.

They fell for it every time. Now that they are teens they actually ask for it. Silly kids.

I had this recipe years ago and used to make it a lot. Then I lost the recipe. This one has a couple of new little "twists' like the onions, but it's basically the same. Thanks for posting this, Lisa!

Definitely don't omit the French fried onions! They add a great flavor to it and I'm encouraged to try them in other things as well. It was fantastic last night too!
