Welcome to Its Time To Duel.net We have active Discussion and Trading Forums, a constantly updated News Forum, and numerous features available to all Registered Users. To provide you with this level of content, we moderate posts frequently, based on what we define as acceptable standards of conduct for our forum. So in order to have a well managed and friendly environment, by creating an account and/or by posting here you agree to abide by our rules so please read carefully and follow the following rules: 1. no one under the age of 13 is allowed to post or register an account on Its Time To Duel.net, any user found to be under the age of 13 will have their account deleted 2. Spamming of any kind will not be tolerated. We define spam as any post that does not contribute to the topic being discussed we also define it as any thread that is inappropriate for the current topic at hand. Also posting a thread more than once, or posting a large number of threads in a limited period of time is considered spamming. Spam will be remove immediately. However, you are allowed to post spam in the random topic forum as long as it isn't excessive (i.e. 20 spam topics/posts a day would be excessive, show restraint) that is the only place it will be allowed. To further help you out, take these points into account: 2.a) Before posting a thread, consider its value to the community. If your thread will not be of value to many community members, try not posting it. 2.b) “Personal” threads between members are prohibited. Please use the Private Messaging (PM) system for such concerns. 2.c) Before posting a new thread, please use the search engine to see if your topic is already being discussed. If so, please read throughly to find your answer or/and concern in that newly found thread, if the results aren't what you were expecting then feel free to post the new thread. 2.d) * “Bumping” threads – posting with the clear intent to bring a thread to the top position in the forum – is spamming. however, bumping your trade thread is allowed as long as there are not more than 2 simultaneous posts from you on the thread that you bumped 2.e) Try to stay away from "Best/Worst" threads as they do not encourage proper discussions. 2.f) Talk threads and posts where you have an off-topic conversation with someone else are spamming. 2.g) using any language besides english anywhere besides signatures is spam and you will be warned for it 3. no user is permitted to access the site via a proxy server, any user found doing so will be instantly banned and the IP used will be banned as well. the only exception is if permission is granted by me (I_Am_A_Noob) personally 4. NEVER publicly post any personal or confidential information about ANYONE. This is STRICTLY prohibited. Any such information will be removed, and the proper actions to the person making this types of announcements will be taken. 5. Advertising is NOT allowed. Any thread or post that includes a link or explicit reference to ANY other web site will be removed. Exceptions exist as long as the outside links posted CONTRIBUTE in some way to the topics. Beware of course that off-site links are allowed in your homepage and signature. However, if you make a post or thread specifically to refer to your signature, that is advertising as well. 6. You may post your opinion here, but doing so in a way that is inappropriate or insults other members is not allowed. Try and follow the following to keep out of troubles: 6.a) Don't use curse words 6.b) Keep a polite tone and professional attitude in your posts at all times. Childish and condescending behavior is not allowed. 6.c) Provoking members, stating opinions in a degrading fashion, any sort of name calling, repeatedly insulting another user and harassment are all unacceptable under ANY circumstances. 6.d) Rudeness or insults will not be tolerated, even as a joke or among friends. This is a community forum with members of all ages. This includes racial insults, religious insults, sexual harassment. 6.e) If you are allowed to say something, there is a courteous way to say it. If it’s not polite, don’t post it! Even if other users have provoked you, retaliation them is NOT allowed. Leave them to the staff members. 6.f) Do not bypass filters, anyone found to be bypassing any filter will recieve warning points for the first offense. the filters are in place for a reason and will not be underminded 6.g) Flaming is not allowed, in addition, personal attacks on the site will not be tolerated. we try to keep this a fun safe place for everyone to post and attacking us undermines our authority 7. Higher Level Offenses. If your post breaks any of the following rules, it will be removed. 7.a) Rudeness and disrespect toward Forum Leaders is not allowed. We maintain the forums and update the new features for your use. Our time here is given freely – we are not paid or compensated. Therefore, we ask you to respect us. 7.b) Lewd or obscene remarks will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Young children browse these forums, and we don’t want them seeing any lewd or obscene comments. Also, many older people may find lewd comments very offensive, even if you do not. Racist or prejudiced remarks are not allowed here. We ask you to remain tolerant at all times. Members of all races, creeds and beliefs come here. Be cognizant of this fact and act accordingly. 8. Reporting any abnormal behavior. If you see any member breaking the rules in a post, you may report them to a moderator to have the post removed or other action taken. 9. Private Messaging System. The Private Messaging System is a very useful tool. All of the usual forum rules apply to the Private Messaging system as well. However, since Private Messages are of course private, personal questions and chatting are perfectly fine. Simply forward an online Moderator a private message if it breaks the forum rules. 10. Causes for Instant Ban: 10.a) If you make multiple accounts without the explicit permission of a Moderator or Administrator, you will be banned. 10.b) If you conduct a trade, and the person you traded with is able to present concrete evidence that you appropriated the goods they sent you without sending them the goods you agreed to send, you will be banned. 10.c) If you flagrantly or repeatedly violate the rules, you may also be banned without warning. 11. shoutbox. The shoutbox should be an enjoyable place for all members. In the shoutbox, we will hold you to the same standards of conduct as you would on the forum. If you break rules in the shoutbox, you may be banned from the shoutbox and possibly warned on the forum. Disrespect, cursing, lewd remarks, excessive spamming, and advertising are all not permitted in the shoutbox. 12. Multiple Accounts. the rule is one account per IP address. for family members of the same house who want their own accounts special permission must be given by me before the account can be made. failure to do so will result in the multiple account being banned. there are also special rules in regards to accounts from the same IP address, those users are not allowed to trade with eachother and those users are not allowed to refer eachother. 13. Warning System. We have a warning system to control rule breaking and help maintain an orderly environment. If you break any of the rules stated above, you may receive warning points, depending on the severity of your offense. Please familiarize yourself with the Warning List. If you are warned, you should receive a Private Message and e-mail stating your offense and the staff member’s comment. Each offense has a specific name, Level, and number of points. If your warning point total becomes greater than or equal to 30, you will be banned and denied access to the forum for 30 days. 14. staff may warn you at any time for any reason. however, if you think you were wrongly warned and wish to appeal, you may do so by submitting a PM to me and I will talk with you and the staff member that warned you and determine if the warning was warranted or not Signature and Avatar Rules: you may have one image in your signature as long as it isn't over 180 height and 500 width you may use a custom avatar as long as it isn't bigger than 100x100

12.
