How to RP Okay, this is pretty basic, make sure you as members don’t screw it up. There are a few rules that you should always be followed to make a good RP post. They are grammar, content, reality, and personality. 1. Grammar Obviously no one wants to read a post they can barely understand. This includes being overenthusiastic comma people(yeah I’m looking at, you, person, who uses, so many, commas). A piece of advice for people who keep misspelling things, use Microsoft Word or some other program that can correct your spelling. 2. Content Wait, all you did today was read a book? Wow, that is, er, fascinating. You do not want to be that person. As a member, you should try and make your posts as interesting as possible. Advice, try and keep in mind your environment, and your personality. For example, if you then don’t be an angry person, don’t hesitate to unleash your anger. If you are a person that likes beauty, comment on your scenery. 3. Reality IT’S A BIRD! IT’S A PLANE! IT’S NOT REAL! Your post might be good and all, but if it involves you doing something physically impossible then it may as well not exist. It causes strife amongst the people in the thread, and just angers any person who can think. 4. Personality This kind of goes with content. Your personality is a great asset in making your post. If your sad, cry your eyes out, angry, beat someone to a pulp, confused…… well just stand there. 5. Miscellaneous A few miscellaneous things that come with good RP’ing but don’t pertain to how good a post it is. You can edit your post at any time, as long as someone hasn’t posted AFTER you. If someone has already posted after your post, the only way you can edit it is if something is seriously wrong with it. For example, you GodModded in your post, or you messed up someone’s name or outfit or whatever. The length of your post does not make you a bad RP’er or a good RP’er. As long as you get the point across and making it an interesting post it is fine. I think we all prefer to get to the point of deciding something in three paragraphs compared to, say, six or seven.
