There are basic ranks in which people use universally. D, C, B, A, and S-Rank. These ranks define the strength of a character in general. These ranks are usually used for reference of a battle. It is obvious that a D-Rank will have a very hard time defeating a A-Rank. D to A-Rank are basic ranks while S-Rank is considered another level of its own. There are three main jobs in this world and the jobs branch off in quiet a few ways. Craftsman: Those who create items from materials. Smithy This job includes various things, however generally involving metal. This group also creates the items by hand and without the usage of mana or chi. Fletcher A fletcher is adept in the skill of crafting, repairing, and improving ranged weapons such as bows and arrows and cross bows. This group also creates the items by hand and without the usage of mana or chi. Weaver Weavers are defined into two categories. This job involves making cloth or fabric of a kind. The two kinds of weaver are Simple-Weaver and Enchanted-Weaver. Simple-Weavers do not use mana or chi while crafting while Enchanted-Weaver do. Enchanted-Weavers are capable of creating enchanted items while Simple-Weavers create fashionable and much more detailed works. Healer Healers are those who sell medicine and heal others. There are two kinds; Simple-Healer and rare Enchanter-Healer. Simple-Healers use herbs and such to cure others while Enchanter-Healers use mana or chi. Enchanter-Healers are quiet rare due to enormous control needed to use their mana or chi to heal. Enchanters Enchanters sell spells or cast spells onto an item to create enchanted items. The two kinds are Inscribe-Enchanters and Spell-Enchanters. Inscribe-Enchanters scribe a spell onto an item to enchant it while Spell-Enchanters write a spell and sell it. All craftsman jobs have three basic levels; apprentice, journeyman, and master. Only journeyman and above are allowed to sell items. In order to move from apprentice to journeyman, you must use craft points gained from creating items or spells. Reminded that a Master is usually at least in the early 40s if you plan to create a character with master job rank. Merchant: This job involves selling items. There are two main types. Traveling Merchant This involves traveling frequently to sell merchandise. Stationary Merchant This type of merchant owns a permanent shop whether it be a stall or a large building. Inn keepers, restaurant owners, and store keepers are included in this category. It is rare for them to travel often. Mercenary: This job involves being hired to do something, anything. However the third choice isn't used very often and will be rarely used as it will cost quiet a bit of sens. Missions [number of missions needed-rank of the mission] From D-Rank to C-Rank: 5-D 2-C From C-Rank to B-Rank:7-C 3-B From B-Rank to A-Rank: 10-B 4-A From A-Rank to S-Rank: 30-B 25-A 1-S Defeats [number of wins-rank of the defeated] From D-Rank to C-Rank: 3-D 1-C From C-Rank to B-Rank:5-C 2-B From B-Rank to A-Rank: 10-B 3-A From A-Rank to S-Rank: 15-B 15-A 1-S Test From D-Rank to C-Rank: 10,000 sens From C-Rank to B-Rank: 100,000 sens From B-Rank to A-Rank: 1,000,000 sens From A-Rank to S-Rank: Cannot be done Edited by Toshi, Apr 4 2009, 07:53 PM.

Craftsman and Item Creation Items are rated from C~S-Rank. Because of this, there is a huge gap between A-Rank and S-Rank. Thus in order to create S-Rank item, a craftsman must spend certain amount of craft points. You may gain craft points by creating an item. C-Rank Item: +1 Craft point B-Rank Item: +1 Craft point A-Rank Item: +2 Craft point To create an S-Rank item, you must spend the gained points: S-Rank Weapon Item: -34 Craft point S-Rank Armor Item: -34 Craft point S-Rank Other Item: -32 Craft point Also because of the difficulty and the power of the S-Rank items, you must be at the level of a Master of a certain craft before creating an item relating to that craft. To gain a rank in craftsman, you must spend craft points and complete certain ranked items to go from apprentice to Master. [craft points/ number of crafts finished-rank of the item] Apprentice to Journeyman: 5/ 5-C Journeyman to Master: 40/ 10-C 20-B 5-A An Apprentice is not allowed to create any items higher then C-Rank. A Journeyman is not allowed to create any items higher then A-Rank. A Master may create any ranked items, including S-Rank. An Item is Ranked based on its effectiveness, not its appearance. Thus a C-Ranked item will be weaker then A-ranked item. There is a huge gap in between the A-Rank and S-Rank item, creating it so that S-Ranked items are harder to create as it is much more powerful. |

Craftsman and Item Stats Items can be used to boost your stat. However there is a difference in stats that can be raised depending on if it is an enchanted or non-enchanted. An enchanted item may raise any of the four stats while a non-enchanted may only raise the stat that the item is relevant in. For example, a pair of non-enchanted boots may raise the speed stat slightly while a pair of enchanted boots may raise stats other then speed. Stats that items may raise are; Stamina, Speed, and Control. Intelligence stat may only be raised by training. Here is a list of stat points that can be distributed on a non-enchanted item. Not all of the points are in need of being distributed. C-Rank: 1 point B-Rank: 1 point A-Rank: 2 points S-Rank: 5 points List for enchanted items follow; C-Rank: 1 point B-Rank: 1 point A-Rank: 2 points S-Rank: 6 points For an enchanted item, a simple spell can be integrated into an item as well. Such as a fire related spell can be integrated into a sword's blade to allow the blade to be shrouded in flames, create flame waves per strike, or any other meanings of using fire. However these spells will vary per rankings and for a higher ranked item, there can be up to four spells integrated into the item. [Spell rank / Number of spells] C-Rank: D / 1 B-Rank: D, C / 1 A-Rank: D, C, B / 2 S-Rank: D, C, B, A / 5 Notice that none of the enchanted items may carry an S-rank spell. The stats that are distributed should be included in the effects along with the spell. In case of the spell, a link to the spell that is included in the item along with the description of what it will actually do when triggered. This is done as a spell can be modified into a different form to fit the item. |
