Transferring data between old and new Wii

Hi,

My old Wii stopped recognizing discs, and cleaning the lens didn't work, so I purchased a brand new (not refurbished) Wii. I found online directions for transferring saved game data using an SD card. I successfully transferred what data I could (from about 39 games) from the old Wii onto the SD card. When I try to transfer the data to the new Wii it asks "Copy to the Wii System Memory?" and I choose Yes. I then get the message "You must first play this game on your Wii console to copy save data." This wasn't mentioned in the online directions but I decided to use Wii Music as a test. I played around with the Wii Music game for awhile (Is there any way to bypass the guy that gives intro instructions?) and it created a file. So since I played the game (as instructed) I then tried to transfer the Wii Music data from the SD card and now I get the message "This data already exists in the Wii System Memory" and, again, it won't let me transfer the data. I don't understand why it won't let me transfer the data either before OR after I play the games.

Am I doing something wrong?

Also, what's the difference between the Move and Copy options?
Please help.
Thanks!

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
