I think Talent should be like each time you level, you get a talent, you get to make your Hp go up by 10,or upgrade your Agility by 1,or upgrade your strength by 10 or your energy(Ki)! Good Idea right? Talent is an upgrade point!

WAIT NO I JUST GAME HOME WITH AN
OTHER IDEA! Keep Reflexes, but you can only upgrade them with Talent points if you choose to! Reflexes is to help dodges,if you are fighting two people at a time, and they both use two blasts, you need TWO Reflexes to do TWO dodges, but it takes away two of your dodges! Every two points on Reflex gives you to dodge more than once,so if you have 50 Reflex point, you could dodge 24 times according to my calculation! What do you think! So I will add back Reflexes, just you start out with 0

OOOOOH and another idea!!!! Boy,i'm comin up with ideas! About the Reflexes,ALSO 5 points allows you to do two skills! That is not cheating, you can choose to use your talent points however you want! It isn't an advantage! THIS IS SO AWESOME GIVE FEEDBACK!!! I KNOW YOU ALL WILL LIKE IT!!! It is a GREATER skill system ever before seen!!!!

Umm... how about we incorporate them, but not the exact way you described, because that way, does kind of get rid of some of the features that those have... and just so you know, the effects are listed with the stats... so... it kinda is right in the page, so you should be able to see it... but I will repeat the different functions for Reflex and talent just in case... and I will make a simplified version because you never know who will go on this site...

Reflex:For every 50 points to this stat, you gain 2 deflects. A deflect can reduce damage to a quarter of its full amount, and if you use 2 deflects, you can split the damage between you and your opponent.
(simplified terms(for those with a smaller vocabulary))Reflex:50 points gets you 2 deflects. 1 deflect can divide the damage by 1/4. 2 deflects cuts the damage in 1/2, and the one who attacked takes 1/2 too.

Talent: For every 50 points to this stat, you gain 1 upgrade point. An upgrade point is used to modify one of your techniques in any way you want, but it has to be approved by a moderator or admin before it gains that effect.
(simplified terms(again, for those with a smaller vocabulary))Talent: 50 points gets you 1 upgrade point. 1 upgrade point gives a technique a special effect that you make up. Staff has to accept the effect.

But it will take you a long time to get that, that is like for advanced people who really play this game, and other beginners wouldn't want to play,I think my way is better in many ways including this. Another way it is better is that each time you level up you get 1Talent point, and that can upgrade Your skills like I said. People wouldn't want to go with one strategy like you said, they want to be different, have different stats that they think is better. I know I wouldn't want to do what you said. And like you said, reflexes take 1/2 away, but I think Reflex would mean, your speed to dodge. I still vote for what I said. Because take this game for example,we advanced players fight 1,000s and 1,000s of Enemies at one time! For 50 points of Reflex is only two deflects, and they all use the same blast, you can't deflect all of them, and I KNOW that the new game wouldn't be fighting 1,000s of enemies very soon until you are Experts at the game, because it will be more difficult,so 2 Reflex points gives you the power to dodge 2 at the same time! And so 50 Reflex points equals 24 times, then that can dodge 24 enemies if you are fighting them, but you have to have enough dodges to support the Reflex,so it is a strategy. I think I have the most reasonable evidence there is,but if you are still against it,do tell me more.

Actually, I think that we could incorporate them both... we could merge the ideas for both reflexes, and change the talent points that tj was talking about into some kind of extra thing that we get each time we reach a certain amount of battles. that way, it could be more of an extra bonus for your fighting. Also, you could choose to change 10 of those points into 2 upgrade points, like the ones added by talent. Also, reflexes are actually something you do unintentionally, like if you normally block a punch a certain way and someone punches you in real life, you might block that way without thinking about it.

Ps. It appears that the guy who originally formed this site with me has deleted the webs page he made... unfortunately, that was the page with my characters on it... well... most of them, but still.

Alex, you aren't geting it.. Okay,Ssenkrad,I like what you said but I just have ONE more reasoning. Who would want to use math in their games!? I am sure we make games to not only be fun and cool but not many people want to use math, lets say we are like level 78 and we do 1,589 or 12,785...Who would want to divide if they use reflex? It is like a math game, and I hate those,it is really fun when you do not have to use math and divide stuff all the time and deflect stuff using MATH...
