I would like to offer my best wishes to the management and players of both our senior sides for the forthcoming season. Its remarkable how quickly we have developed, particualrly over the past year and, from what I hear, we have attracted some very talented newcomers to the squad. Providing all these new 'star' players pay their signing on fees and commit to GHSFC for the season, I think we are in for another successful season. In 2006/2007 we won the league cup at only the second time of asking. In 2007/2008 we gained our highest league postion to date and were rewarded by a promotion to the Suburban League paving the way for the creation of a reserve side. I have a feeling that 2008/2009 will be even more exciting. Good luck to everyone. |
