Ok, my sister's sent their Christmas lists to me and I am shopping on line. So far I got a purse for my sister at $15 less than the site she found it. And I got my younger sister this really great basket for her bike. Yes, it's hand made by some Amish people in Minnesota and expensive but it was so beautiful I just thought she would love it. My dad is getting a recliner. We are all pitching in to pay for it. And then a few gift certificates for restaurants and he's done. My BIL is always hard but he's into gin (the beverage) so I am going to look for a very fine, expensive bottle and then shirts and ties. I love buying shirts and ties for him. I am sure we are going to have to get something for my dad's girl friend but we haven't discussed it yet. I am sure it will be something nice. And then as always, flavored nuts for my BIL, soup, bread, granola and cake mixes for my sisters as stocking stuffers. I think I'll be done the first week in November if I work it out right. |

I'm already finished. I start shopping the day after Christmas. Of course, I'll get a few more things here and there. I do have to get my mom a turntable. She wants to start listening to her collection of gospel albums. Target has a cute one that looks like an old fashioned radio. I think she'll really like it. I was talking to my sister yesterday and she's so down in the dumps. Her husband isn't having any luck finding another job and he's got less than two weeks left at his current one (they phased out his job...he's a salesman in the construction business). Audrey is worried sick about Christmas, among other things like losing their house (which the family won't let happen). She was telling me that they might not be able to come over to do our annual Christmas shopping weekend. I told her that she better! We don't have to do anything but window shop and have a good time. That trip always puts me in the Christmas spirit and I think it does her too. |

Shoot. The way my bills have sky rocketed and the cost of feeding my family keeps going up...well you know where I am going with that. But I did buy a turkey today so in a couple days Thanksgiving will be in the air...lol |

I'm not doing as much shopping as I usually do this year, but I've gotten about half of my gifts. Hopefully I'll be finished by mid November since I'll be able to do some shopping with my paycheck coming in and not have to wait till there's extra in the budget from hubby's check. |

I am determined to finish the first weekend in November. Most of what I am buying I am doing over the internet. I really am not a good shopper when I go to the stores. I tend to see too much or absolutely nothing. |
