My nephew, Michael, called last night and told me the apartment above theirs caught on fire last week. He said as soon as he was aware there was a fire he woke up Natasha and Ashlynn made them go outside. He then made multiple trips back and forth into his apartment to gather up pictures, paperwork, clothes for the kids (the older one was at her dads), and bedding. As he was going back in for another load the firefighters finally stopped him and wouldn't let him back into his apartment. Luckily his place didn't catch fire but does have water damage. He doesn't know when they will be allowed to move back in. Until then they were moved to a one bedroom unit.

Here is the article. Also a picture of my nephew, his GF and my great neice.

I hope he had renters insurance. It will cover all of his losses. I wouldn't be without it.

Oh wow, how scary. I am happy they are all okay but what a bad thing to happen. I hope they can move back in soon.

They're doing well. Ashlynn is having a hard time without her room, her toys and her stuff due to the water damage. But at least they are safe. However, I am happy because they are coming to visit on the 25th.
