I was putting something away under my kitchen sink and stood up and nailed my head on the cabinet door above the sink. I hit the corner of it...hard. Now my head is bleeding slightly and I have a mean headache.

On top of it all I need to walk up to the school..all the way today and get Steven while Destiny stays an hour longer for Encores ( a song and dance group). Today is the first day so I am hoping after today I can find someone to drive Destiny home after rehersal.

My head hurts and I really don't feel like walking up to the school and sitting around for an hour. Ick. I hope one of the kid's friends signed up too so we can bum a ride home. I know I won't feel like walking back.

Sounds like something I would do. Actually, I've done it before! LOL...

Sure hope you didn't give yourself a concussion!

OWW...I hope it isn't a concussion either. Take some tylenol or ibuprofen and ice the area. Then, make sure someone keeps an eye on you. Have them watch your pupils to be sure that they are evenly dilated. If not, it is a concussion and someone will have to make sure that you don't fall asleep and stay asleep.

I'm so sorry.

I still have a headache, a bad one. The boys I was watching just left for the day and I have an hour before I have to start heading up to the school to get Steven and Destiny, so I am going to try to get some rest. I need to shake this headache.

No such luck. When I tried to rest, I laid down grab my book and then realized I had a load of laundry in the washer that I needed to hang on the clothes line. So that was my rest...lol. Anyways I'm fine. I have a sore spot on my scalp along with a scab (nice huh?) but I will be ok. I did realize however I might want to consider getting the younger kids a pay as you go type of cell. I really didn't feel like walking all the way to the school, If I could have called one of them they could have met me on the corner of our street. I just know I didn't want to walk all the way to the school today, I felt horrible. Tomorrow will be better, my head has to feel better.

Yep I am. Thanks for asking. My headache is down to a dull ache. I do have a soft sensitive spot, but other than that I feel much better.

I guess there is a plus too being so hard headed. LOL
