I planted 4 pumpkin plants this year. The plants look great. Nice big green leaves, big blooms and plenty of bees around them. They traveled and vined outside the garden area and started going around it. Out of the four plants none of them produced. I am bummed. I usually get at least two or three pumpkins...not this year. |

Mine didn't do anything this year either. I only planted two hills, they grew like crazy and that was the end of that. I've always had better luck with volunteer pumpkins. |

Maybe you got a male plant and no female so it couldn't make little pumpkins....... |

No frost when I planted them. My garden in general didn't do as well as normal. That probably has to do with the fact that we have had such a dry year. |

The guy who raised the 1800 lb pumpkin said he had to cross pollenate his. Maybe it just didn't get the right pollen. |
