I see you posting again so I assume you are back. How was your visit with Nicole and Jude..or your SIL. I Hope you had a great time and enjoyed your grandson.

Oh by the way did you have a small package waiting for you from the kids when you arrived home? Inquiring minds want to know.

LOL...I sent you a PM before I saw this! I DID have a nice package waiting for me when I got home last night. Tomorrow I am attaching it to one of the den windows so I can see it when I am on the computer. Steven and Destiny are so thoughtful and I will really enjoy my new birdfeeder...as will the birds!

I had a wonderful time in TX with Jude, Nicole and Jason. Jason grilled burgers and hotdogs for us on Monday and we just spent the day playing with Jude. He pulled up to a standing position for the first time on Monday (he was trying to get the TV remote)! Then he did it several times. He is a very happy, cheerful, funny little guy and it made me feel good that he didn't act like I was a stranger.

Tuesday Nicole, Jude and I went shopping. We went to a pet store to let Jude look at the fish (he loves the aquariums) and then we went to Kohl's. We were really lucky there...Jude needs PJs and we actually found summer AND winter baby PJs on the clearance rack! That little stinker is only nine months old, but is wearing 18 month size clothes and will be in 24 month clothes by the time he's a year old!

Tuesday night we gave Jude a bath and it was so funny. He LOVES to kick his legs in the bath and water was flying everywhere. I can't wait to see them again and hope Jesse and I can take a roadtrip over there for Jude's first birthday.

The bad things...when I got to the airport Sunday to leave I discovered I didn't have my VISA card. I was upset about that because I was planning to take Nicole shopping, but we had to limit that to Kohl's (glad I had THAT card). I only had $40 cash so I had to be careful with my spending.

Plus, the airline informed me that I was double confirmed and that I may have been charged twice for my ticket! You'd think that with double confirmation they'd put me on the right plane, but nope, on the trip back they put me on the wrong plane which ended up causing me over a three hour layover in Atlanta. I was supposed to be home by 5:30, but didn't arrive until 8:00.

Don had come by and left my credit card in my car so I'd be able to get out of longterm parking...or so I thought. It was storming here and the automated machine at the exit gate refused to accept my card...THREE times (I called the credit card company in between attempts to see what the problem was...they said the first time I attempted they denied charges because they suspected the card was stolen, but assured me it would go through...it didn't). On the third attempt, when the machine spit out the parking ticket the wind snatched it and blew it over the fence and away.

By this time I was exhausted and in tears (I didn't mention that we lost another cat Tuesday night and I was stressed and upset already about Callie). I backed out of the exit and parked to figure out what to do. Don called about that time (he'd been trying to reach me since 5:30 and was getting frantic). It didn't help that I was boo hooing when he called, so he asked his supervisor if he could leave work and come help me. LOL...he told his supervisor his wife was having a nervous breakdown in the longterm parking lot at the airport! By the time he got there two airport employees had come over to see what was wrong (they'd seen me back out of the exit) and they opened the gate and let me out. They said the machines weren't working properly because of the weather.

I finally got home around 10:00 last night and have been recovering all day today.
