As always nothing much around here. I have a bunch of errands to do today and need to hit a few stores. We are down to the bare minimum again so I need to stock up and get us through the rest of the month. My front yard needs to be mowed, along with the back, so I see the kids doing yard work today.

Not too sure what we are doing tomorrow.

Kind of a boring weekend.

I got my nails done and shopped on line for new flatware for my dad. For some reason, everytime everyone is there for Christmas, there isn't enough forks. So I ordered a 45 piece set so that now we have 8 of everything and matching serving pieces.

I bought the dishes for my mom a few years before she died. Not that she didn't have a half dozen sets of dishes and we buy special Christmas paper plates and napkins so we don't have to wash dishes all the time. But the flatware was in need. She has silver silverware but no one wants to use it in case we mislay a piece. My mom always made us count every piece to be sure it was back in the silverware drawer.

Tomorrow, it's cleaning house and ironing. But if someone would like to volunteer to come and help, I would not object...HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Sunday actually ended up being a lot of fun. Zach won tickets and a parking pass to the state fair. So the kids and I went with him and had a blast. The theme this year was about Hollywood and movies. The exhibits were spectacular. We didn't get to see everything since it was hot and the kids were wiped out after seven hours.

We took a break and went back to the car for cold drinks (wasn't going to pay the fair prices) and Zach and Destiny laid down on the blanket in the shade and could not get up. Destiny was overheating due to her brace and I could not get her to take it off for awhile to bring her body temperature down. Steven was still full of energy and I wanted to see a few other exhibits but those two were exhausted after miles of walking in the hot weather, so we headed home.

We really did have a great time. And this morning trying to get Steven and Destiny out the door and too school at 7 for band was a challenge. However they did make it on time.

It was a lot of fun. I was bummed since I didn't have my camera with me. (Dustin borrowed it and now doesn't know where it is.) There were plenty of photo moments. My cell takes pictures but not as clear as my camera. Anyways the Indiana Jones area was awesome. So was the Jurasic Park (Steven was attacked by a dino..lol) and Star wars sets. Destiny loved the Spongebob set and explored the pineapple. Zach probably enjoyed the Star Wars exhibit the most. I on the other hand got a kick out of the Pirates Of the Caribbean, Alien and Back to the Future sets. Most of it was hands on except for the Back to The Future. They had the car and hoverboards roped off.

I was disapointed we didn't make it to the garden area or the forest. However we did hit the rain forest and cooled down in the mist.

Steven was finally tall enough to drive the bumper cars by himself, so he and Zach rode those. Destiny rode a spin coaster with her oldest brother and they all rode the monorail while I checked out the county exhibits. It really was a lot of fun.

Paula I hope I didn't bombard you too much with pictures lol.
